Upgrade Your Bumper 2024

Upgrade Your Bumper is a racing rogue-lite in which players drive through tracks, battle aggressive opponents, and upgrade their vehicle's bumper to survive and destroy the final boss. With randomized power-ups, weather, bounty systems, and dynamic challenges, every race is unique, ensuring endless replayability. This was for the University of Houston's Introduction to Game Development class (COSC 4358).

This game supports mice, keyboards, and controllers. While some of the UI works for controllers, a mouse is needed to navigate specific menus. There are various bugs and bad code. If you want to take a look at that, explore our GitHub repository!
